In my life, air purifiers and asthma go hand in hand. Before I installed some air cleaners and air purifiers in the house, I was not able to be around my cats unless I took an allergy pill every morning. The pet dander that was floating in the air really bothered my allergies and my breathing. Since the installation, I've been able to live with animals without being miserable due to allergies.

The cigarette smoke will most likely bother anyone with asthma, and the only way to solve the problem is either for the smoker to quit or to install air purifiers in the room where the smoker smokes. Smoke eaters really do remove the odor caused by cigarette smoke, too, so you won't have to worry about your furniture smelling musty or smoky anymore.

After installing some air purifiers in the house, the difference in air quality is really quite amazing. Right away I noticed a difference, and I wasn't the only one. Even my brother-in-law who dropped by the house mentioned how clean the house smelled compared to previous visits.
The most inexpensive way to fit air purifiers into a tight budget is to buy portable, single-room purifiers. You can take these purifiers from room to room, but they won't purify multiple rooms at the same time. You could even purchase a purifier for each room if your smoker tends to wander about the house.
